    MONSTER THANKS

Hey there, Little Miss Muffet has a color challenge starting today.  The theme is Neapolitan Icecream so the colors are brown, pink and cream.  A couple weeks ago I won one of their challenges and was asked if I would like to be a guest designer for an upcoming challenge.  I fell in love with their little monsters and couldn't wait to color one of them!  If you would like to participate in the challenge, head on over to their blog for all the details!

My father-in-law needed a thank you card for the neighbors who helped when my mother-in-law was diagnosed with brain cancer.  They are both wonderful people and were there every day for my in-laws and continue to be there for my FIL even after she passed.  They are driving their big, old motor home to an out-of-state family reunion, so my FIL decided to give them some gas gift cards to help out along the way.  The monster was colored, fussy cut out then adhered directly to the card stock.  The dark patches have Coffee Bean Brown Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge on them.  It's cool to work with and gives cards that touch-ability factor.  Love that!  Oh, and the sentiments were computer generated.

Here's the inside...easy peasy gift card holder.  I resized the digi and made a smaller one for the inside.  I guess that's about it for this one.

    ANGELINA'S ORNAMENT

Hey there, this is another image I've had colored for months.  With all the Christmas in July challenges going on...I figured I would go ahead and make it into a card.  The image is called Angelina's Ornament and it's from Whipper Snapper Designs.  The ornament and the mouse's nose both have Sakura Clear Glaze pen on them...one of my favs!  The die cuts are from My Favorite Things, the 25 on the tag was computer generated and the seam binding was died with Memento ink and a Mini Mister filled with water.

    KISS THE COOK!

Hey there, I've got a bunch more images ready to be made into cards...but I broke out the markers for this one.  Today is my hubby's birthday and I wanted to make something special for him.  His mom passed three days ago so it's been a tough time for the family.  Anyway, this image is from Whipper Snapper Designs and it's called Burger King.  Jeff loves grilling!  The image was colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was computer generated...right down to the little lips.  They were also colored with Copics to match the apron then the lips, eyes and the BBQ grill all have Sakura Clear Glaze pen on them.

Here's the inside...again, the sentiment was computer generated, colored with Copics then punched out.

    PUFF & STUFF

Hey there, happy Christmas in July!  I'm back again this morning with another Whipper Snapper image that's been waiting to be made into a card.  This one is called Puff & Stuff.  Seriously Whipper Snapper, who's the lucky person that gets to name your images???  I {heart} these names!  LOL!  This was an easy-peasy card.  The image was stamped on the main panel, then the shadow was colored before it was embossed.  The image was stamped a second time, colored, fussy cut then adhered directly to the embossed panel.  A glaze pen was used on the bear's nose to give it a subtle shine and Stickles were added to the three snowflakes (the one by the bear's foot was popped up) and to the dots of snow on the embossed background.

    Here's the inside...

    MR. & MRS. CLAUS

Hey there, I'm back with another image that has been colored up for months and just sitting on my desk collecting dust.  This is a Whipper Snapper Designs stamp called Mr. & Mrs. Claus...aren't they precious?  They were fussy cut then popped up on foam.  The sentiment was computer generated, cut out with a Nestie then sponged with Memento ink.  A clear glaze pen was used on the glasses, earrings and the holly berries in Mrs. Claus' hair.  Don't you love the vintage brad in the center of the poinsettia?  It looks like it could be one of Mrs. Claus' earrings.

    GOUDA

Hey there, I found this Whipper Snapper Designs image among a bunch of others that I've had colored for months.  Sweet Sunday Sketch has a cool challenge, so I thought I would play along.  The WSD stamp is called Gouda, and I seriously love their stamps!  The mouse's nose, jingle bell, candy cane and berries from the mistletoe all have clear glaze pen on it for a subtle shine.  It seems like I've been using my clear glaze pen on every project lately...I can't get enough of it!  Ha!  And check out that Sparklet from KaiserCraft...it's awesome and makes for a perfect poinsettia center!

    CHESTER

Hey there, an ex-coworker asked me to make a card for a mutual friend and she wanted it to have bling.  That was the only thing she really wanted so I used Chester from Whipper Snapper Designs.  He's a super cute bunny and I love the little ladybug!  Nesties were used for the circles which was perfect to give her the bling she wanted...LOL!  Chester's nose and the ladybug's shell both have clear glaze pen on them for a subtle shine.  The flowers and leaves/swirls are My Favorite Things dies for the exception of the yellow center on the blue flower and that is a Quilled Creations die.

Here's the inside...only a portion was stamped then colored with Copic markers to match the front.
