I'm back with a card for Lisa's (lisahenke) challenge.  I've been wanting to color Ivan, from Whipper Snapper Designs, since the Dog Days of Summer VSN (Virtual Stamp Night also through SCS).  He would have been perfect for a couple of those challenges...and since he was still sitting on my desk, I decided to ink him up!  I think someone must have told Ivan to follow the marked path to get to the beach...I just love that expression on his face!  *grin*

Ivan was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah card stock then colored with my fav...Copic markers!  The ball and frog's eyes both have Sakura Clear Glaze on them for a nice, subtle shine.  The sentiment was computer generated, die cut, colored with Copic markers then popped up on foam (only on the pointy side...the wider side was adhered to the card front).  The background clouds were made with a die cut cloud template and my Copic Airbrush System...and a couple Copic colored, die cut clouds complete the card!

COPIC COLORING:
FROG:  Y15, Y11, Y00, YG25, YG23, YG21, YG00  BEACH BALL:  B26, B23, B21, R27, R24, R22, R21, C3, C1, C00  SHORTS:  B26, B23, B21, C3, C1, C00, 0  SIGN:  R27, R24, R22, R21  GROUND:  E43, E42, E41, E40  SKY (around frog):  B23, B21, B0000, 0  CLOUDS:  B23, B21, B0000, C00, 0  AIRBRUSHED SKY (background panel):  B21, B0000

Seeing Ivan on his way to the beach makes me think I should go more often.  Only thing is, Oregon's beaches are usually c-c-c-o-l-d!  I'll be back again tomorrow with a couple more DTGD projects...see ya then!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey there, I'm thrilled to be participating this year in Splitcoaststampers 8th Annual Dare to Get Dirty challenges!  DTGD is our way of saying thanks to the most amazing Fan Club members ever!  So what's this about, you ask?  Easy...it's all about you, silly!  Our Dirty Dozen Designers, both past and present, have gotten together and planned a super fun week for you!  Besides the stamping end of it, the girls will be hanging out in the chat threads waiting to dish the dirt!  Yep...if you've ever wondered how someone does something, ask away...we'd love to share our dirty little secrets with you!  Everyone will be able to see our DTGD projects, but only the Fan Club members will be able to see what the specific challenge details are or participate in the challenges!  Come join in the fun!  Not a member but want to be?  Not a problem...join here!  Ooohhhh...and did I mention prizes?  I thought that might have gotten your attention!  *grin*  Click here for more info!

I'm back today with a card for Bev's (BevMom) challenge.  Wowsers...it's the end of July and this is the first Christmas card that I've made!  I usually make a bunch of "Christmas in July" cards, but not this year!  *gasp*  I guess since this was my first, I had to make it count, right?  I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out!  The image is Ski Bear from Whipper Snapper Designs.  Way too cute!  I know, I know...I say that about all of their stamps!  Ha!  The bear was stamped onto Neenah card stock with Tuxedo Black then colored with Copic markers.  Banners were cut to line the top of the card.  The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle and it isn't even Christmas paper...talk about a perfect match!  Two snowflakes were die cut, colored with Copic markers, popped up between layers then a Sparklet was placed on top.  A little bit of Stickles, for the snow, completes the card.

COPIC COLORING:
BEAR:  BV20, BG70, 0  HAT/SCARF:  R85, R83, R81, BV25, BV23, BV20  SKIS/POLES:  BV25, BV23, BV20  SKY:  BG75, BG72, BG70  SNOWFLAKE:  R85, R83, R81

Sakura Clear Glaze pen gives his nose a soft, subtle shine.  I don't usually color the whole background area, but the BGs are such pretty colors, I just got carried away!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another DTGD project...see ya then!  (PS...this was one of my favorite projects that I made for the DTGD challenges!)

DTGD13TammieE - OH, YOU FOXY THING!

Okey-dokey...so this is for MY (Tammie E) challenge!  That cutie-patootie fox, Rizzo, is from Whipper Snapper  Designs.  He was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah card stock, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut and set aside.  A square Nestability was cut into the white panel to reveal the scene behind it.  The birch trees were die cut then colored with Copic markers and that sky...it was colored with Copic markers too!  Well...technically it was created with the Copic Airbrush System in combination with a cloud die template.  I'm still learning, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.  Woot!  The trees and sky were adhered directly to the back of the square frame and before the fox was adhered to the front, I gave him a shadow to ground him (can't have a floating fox, now can I?).  Ha!  The whole panel was popped up on foam on the card base.

COPIC COLORING:
FOX:  E18, E19, E17  CHEST, WHISKERS, TAIL, EARS:  W3, W2, W1, 0  NOSE:  C6, C4, C2, C0  SHADOW:  W3, W2, W1  BIRCH TREES:  E43, E41

The picture is a little too dark...he really does have eyes peeking out of all that fur!  Clear Glaze pen was used to give his nose a subtle shine.  Love that stuff!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another DTGD project...see ya then!

Thanks for stopping by!

As promised, I'm back with a project I made for
Kittie's (kittie747) challenge.  Sit back and relax...'cuz I've got a TON of pictures to share with you!

I saw a really cute box on Pinterest that I thought I would try to make.  It's a combination of a crayon box and a matchbox only it wasn't big enough for what I needed, so I worked it out and came up with my own template.  OMGosh...It was so much fun to make!  You can't see it, but the top flap has a magnetic closure...LOVE!

When the flap opens, you can slide out a second box...

...that's big enough to hold everything!

Check it out...3 1/2" x 3 1/2" note cards with matching lined envelopes!  I LOVE my new Envelope Punch Board!

The cute hedgie is, Homer, from Whipper Snapper Designs.

I'm kicking off the week with this card for Stacy's (Twinshappy) challenge.  The farm critters (yep, that's their technical name!) were stamped with Tuxedo Black on Neenah card stock, colored with Copic Markers then fussy cut.  The grass was die cut then adhered to the "sky" panel.  The shadow was colored on the grass before the animals (aka critters) were adhered.  Clouds were die cut from the blue panel to show off that awesome gingham paper (I saw that done on Pinterest and couldn't wait to give it a try!) then two more clouds were cut/embossed and popped up on foam.  Last but not least, the sentiment was computer generated, die cut then colored with Copic markers.

TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS BLOG HOP - DAY 3

Hey there, this is the final day of the Taylored Expressions Blog Hop...hope you had a good time looking at all the eye candy over the last few days!  The TE Team is the best!  Today's project uses the Stamp of the Month, Cute Hoot.  Isn't that a super cute little owl?  To start with, the Birch Tree Cutting Plate was cut out of Neenah cardstock, colored with Copic markers then adhered to the background cardstock.  The owl was stamped in Toffee Crunch, die cut with the Curly Cute Hoot dies, then colored with Copic markers...just a touch to give it a little dimension.  The leaves from Branches, Banner & Bloom were cut a few times and adhered to the owl then the whole thing was popped up on foam.  The sentiment was attached to a bow that was tied with ribbon from my stash.  Another quick and easy card to finish out the hop!

TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS BLOG HOP - DAY 2

Hey there, it's day 2 here at the Taylored Expressions Blog Hop.  Amazing projects from the TE Team yesterday, huh?  They always knock my socks off whenever I visit their blogs!  My project for today uses TE's Oops A Daisy stamp set for that beautiful flower, Posh Posies for that awesome font and the Key Ingredients Kit for that gorgeous paper.  Love how this card came together!  Nestabilities were cut in two sizes and while the Neenah cardstock was still in the die cut, it was sponged with Baja Breeze.  The solid-petal flower was also stamped in first and second generation Baja Breeze before the sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black.  The open-petal flower was stamped on Neenah with Tuxedo Black, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then popped up on foam.  I went with another easy-peasy layout (shocker, right?), added a few rhinestones and called it good!

TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS BLOG HOP - DAY 1

Hey there, the Taylored Expressions Team is getting together for a 3-day Blog Hop.  Whoop!  My project uses both the July Key Ingredients Kit and the Stamp of the Month, Cute Hoot.  It's a cutie for sure!  I went with a super CAS layout for this one.  The flower was stamped with Cantaloupe then colored with Copic markers to give it dimension.  It was masked, the stem/leaf was stamped with New Sprout then colored with Copic makers, also for dimension.  Paper and ribbon from the KI Kit were used on the top along with the Open Scallop Border.  The "hello" sentiment was stamped on a Mini Tag and tied on with black twine.
